Eligibility
Requirements
  • SD high school senior or college student who is the CHILD or GRANDCHILD of a male or female veteran of armed conflicts or career military personnel who entered, enlisted or re-enlisted in the service as a resident of SD
  • Attach a personal letter stating field of study pursued, name of college/university attending and future plans
  • THREE recommendation letters; one from a pastor, one from an educator and one from a business person
  • A CERTIFIED copy of the father's, mother's, or grandparent's service record and a brief history of his or her service
  • Include proof of relationship
  • List of extra-curricular activities
