Eligibility

Requirements

  • Child/grandchild of a veteran or hte child/grandchild of a member ofhte American Legion Auxiliary
  • Not under 16 nor over 21 years of age
  • Essay no more than 500 words on the topic "Why I want to attend a College/Universty/Technicial Institute"
  • High School Transcript
  • Three letters of recommendation from each of the following:
    1. Member of the Local American Legion Auxiliary
    2. School administrator or Clergy of applicant's choice
    3. Adult citizen, other than a relative, attesting to the applicant's character in rgard to conduct, citizenship and leadership
Amount $500 (2 to college/university bound & 2 to technicial istitute bound)
