Requirements
  • Graduating high school senior planning to attend Black Hills State University
  • Resident of Hanson or McCook county
  • Intend to pursue a career as a mathematics or science teacher
  • Minimum ACT score of 21
  • Graduate in the top 1/3 of graduating class

Amount $2000 (awarded to freshman) $5000 (awarded to second year students)

 
Timeline Priority deadline February 1; however, not many apply and all pursuing math and science education are encouraged to apply at any time
