Requirements
  • Must be a wartime veteran, their child or their grandchild
  • Legal resident of South Dakota
  • Attending or plan to attend a SD college/university or technical school
 
Amount LOANS up to $1,500; 3% interest with repayment beginning 90 days after the discontinuation of secondary education
 
Deadline May 1 for fall semester distribution; November 1 for spring semester distribution
