Eligibility
Background
This scholarship was designed to honor those who share the same values as did Duane Nebelsick.  His faith in God, love of family and sports, as well as his dedication to the community and education were strong driving forces in his life.  To honor these, his family has set up this scholarship to all who have participated in high school sporting activities.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • The award is open to all Hanson High School seniors who have participated in high school sporting activities
  • Must be planning to attend higher education (whether it be a university, college or vocational school)
  • The award will be made out to the student upon the student’s enrollment the beginning of the second semester
  • 300-500 word essay on YOUR philosophy of life, including goals and plans for the future
  • List of community/civic activities (ie. church, 4-H, scouts, jobs, etc)
  • If you wish, attach any letters of recommendations (not required, but appreciated)

Amount $300.00 (one time only; award will be made out to the student upon the student’s enrollment the beginning of the second semester)
