Eligibilty

1. Applicant must have a checking account with First National Bank South
   Dakota.
2. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
3. Must plan to attend an accredited South Dakota post-secondary institution on a full-time basis.
   Accredited schools include colleges, universities, technical schools or community colleges.
4. Must agree to have name and photo released to the media.
5. Must provide completed application information.
6. First National Bank South Dakota employees and their immediate family are not eligible.

Requirements/Scoring

1. Academic Achievement (up to 20 points awarded)Provide official transcript, including GPA.
2. Character (up to 30points awarded)  Write a 300 word or less description of yourself. Include your goals, values and, outstanding characteristics.
3. Community Involvement/School Activity/Work History (up to 30 points awarded)  Provide a detailed summary of extracurricular school activities, community involvement, and employment history.  List each area separately and include amount of time involved.
4. Essay (up to 20 points awarded)
   Write a brief essay (100 words) on each of the following topics:  How does First National Bank generate economic growth in your local community?  
5. Picture (required) photo should be a head and shoulders shot with your name printed on the back.
